Goshen, N.Y. - July 9, 2010 - Folks crowded into the lawns at Glen Arden in Goshen recently to enjoy a free performance of traditional folk music, performed by The Gravikord Duo of Florida, N.Y. The free concert was presented as part of the Elant Summer Concert Series.

The second concert of the series – featuring The Ian Gallagher Trio Thurs. July 29; from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and will be held outdoors. Hailing from County Roscommon, singer and instrumentalist Ian Gallagher performs traditional Irish songs with a very fine voice deeply imbued with his Irish roots. He is not your typical Irish singer; in fact, he is a crooner with a clear jazz sensibility. Ian is not only a guitarist and a singer, but an all-around entertainer who uses that personal touch to put a smile on the faces of his audience.

Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets, and picnic baskets. In case of inclement weather, the performances will be relocated inside the Glen Arden facility to the Rhinebeck Room.
