Glen Arden is currently seeking a full-time Program Coordinator to run our 28-bed Enriched Housing Unit, also known as our Assisted Living Unit. This position offers a 40 hours per week, 8:30am-5:00pm, Monday-Friday.
The Program Coordinator for the Enriched Housing Unit is a key member of Glen Arden’s management team. S/he is responsible for the day-to-day operational oversight of the Enriched Housing Unit and collaborates with the Case Manager to ensure the appropriate provision of care and services for EHU residents. Candidates are required to act as a liaison and interface between the Enriched Housing Unit and residents’ families and physicians. Strong leadership skills are a must as this position is responsible for the guidance and supervision of all program staff. This position requires the ability to develop and maintain systems of organization to ensure optimal resident outcomes and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Eligible candidates for this position will be required to hold a Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited college or university plus one year of related work experience OR hold a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Human Services, Social Work, Nursing, Gerontology or related course of study, plus three years of related experience, with one year minimum of supervisory experience.
