Sub Acute Care and Short-Term Inpatient Rehabilitation
Physical, occupational and speech therapies are provided in our short-term inpatient rehabilitation care centers with each offering a temporary home-like setting The skilled rehabilitation therapist team evaluates and treats patients using a variety of therapeutic techniques and equipment to strengthen and flex the body, re-teach the basic life skills and restore maximum independence.
Therapists are part of an interdisciplinary team consisting of a nursing staff, dieticians, social workers and activity leaders working closely with orthopedists, cardiologists, neurologists and other physicians. This multi-disciplinary approach has proven to be highly effective with many individuals returning back to their own homes with continued therapy from Elant’s home care programs.
